Steve Alden - Guitars
Steve picked up is first guitar at age seven and has played in bands from the age of thirteen. His major influences were the English blues players of the sixties. Forays into rock, funk and jazz followed during the 70's and 80's and taking on songwriting duties with most of the bands, Kix probably being one of the better known bands around the Midlands.
Having been out of the gigging scene for some while mainly due to work demands, he maintained his playing and songwriting skills in his home studio. Following a change in personal circumstances Steve returned to his roots for the concept of Rhythm Zoo, and those early influences come through strongly in the band's style and choice of material.
The musical organiser of the band , he promises one day to play a solo with his eyes open!
Outside of the band , Steve teaches guitar and runs Skylark Guitars, importing and retailing instruments from the Far East . |
